Restrictions imposed on internet, gatherings in Poonch-Rajouri

Jammu deputy commissioner imposes restrictions on posting/sharing content on social media and news portals. Violation may lead to punitive action under IPC section 188. ST status granted to multiple communities. Internet services were suspended in the Poonch and Rajouri till 11:30 pm Wednesday, under the Temporary Suspension of Telecom Services Rules, 2017. The restrictions are also imposed on social media.
